Bill Hornbuckle, President of MGM Resorts International, will serve as the keynote speaker. He will discuss MGM Resorts International and what a destination casino resort could mean for Georgia. If the Legislature and then voters approve the Constitutional Amendment, MGM Resorts has expressed interest in developing a truly unique resort in the Atlanta metropolitan area creating thousands of jobs and generating tens of millions of dollars in annual spending with local businesses.
During this meeting, outgoing Chair Diane McClearen, Director of Community & External Relations at Oglethorpe Power, will pass the gavel to incoming Board Chair Frederick L. Daniels, Jr., Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President at Citizens Trust Bank.
New board members will be recognized, and select companies and individuals will be honored for their exemplary standards in business development, employee programs, business innovation, contribution to DeKalb County, and overall involvement and support of the Chamber.
