Before the call into Financial services,
I was focused on my career as professional athlete.I am an 11 year veteran of the WNBA and played 14 years internationally. As a professional in the states I played the majority of my career for the Washington Mystics (8yrs), the Phoenix Mercury (2yrs) and the Seattle Storm. Internationally, internationally I took my talents to France, Italy, Spain, Russia,Turkey, Israel, Belgium, and S. Korea.
The University of Kansas is my beloved alma mater. During my 4 years there, I left my mark on the record books with numerous defensive and rebounding awards. While at KU, I became a member of the Omega Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Basketball was my career, but purpose has been found in Paying it forward to my community. In 2005 I founded the Betty Ann Robinson Foundation in memory of my late grandmother who dedicated her life to special needs children.
It is through this foundation I work to inspire young women to “raise the B.A.R” in their personal, academic, and spiritual lives. I have partnered with groups such as; WNBA CARES, Unity Health Care, HOBY, Sibley Memorial Hospital, The Washington Mystics Foundation,Various organizations in the Phoenix, and Kansas City communities, Girls on the Run Seattle, Soles 4 Souls and Zion International School in South Korea. I am also a roud Boys and Girls Club of America Alumni.
