DESCRIPTION:Join the DeKalb Chamber's Small Business Advisory Council for it's popular 'Biscuits and Business' event!\n\n                                        \n\nAbout the Speaker \n\nMyra Cisse is the President of Government Contractors Association (GCA)\, GA Chapter and author of the e-book The "Certified" Business Advantage: The Edge You Need When Selling B2B and B2G. Through GCA and in her own business\, Certification Consultants\, Myra has assisted women\, minority and veteran business owners across the country gain certifications that have resulted in millions of dollars' worth of corporate and government contracts for those businesses. On the path to corporate and government contracts\, Myra is that "first" step. \n\n\n\nMyra majored in finance at the University of South Carolina and worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years. In August 2010\, she obtained her MBA from Georgia State University with a concentration in project management. She spent the last six years of her banking career working exclusively with business owners.\n\n\n\nAs a former banker\, Myra has in-depth knowledge of the banking industry in general\, and the SBA in particular\, having closed millions of dollars of SBA loans. In 2011\, she combined her decades of industry experience\, many years of SBA experience\, and her education to provide a much-needed service to business owners. Myra has helps hundreds of businesses around the country ranging from small mom & pop companies to $35MM enterprises employing hundreds. Many of her clients are actively working multi-year\, multi-million dollar contracts with federal departments around the globe.\n\nMyra partnered with GCA in 2015\, where she first served as VP of Service Delivery before becoming President of the GA Chapter. Government Contractors Association is a membership organization with a Mission to Educate | Facilitate |Advocate for small businesses. GCA currently has chapters in GA and FL. In 2018\, GCA will be opening additional chapters in Washington State and Ohio.
